The author Skelton Yawngrave III is a perfectly Normal skeleton man. Born in 1894, he keeps young by dancing, eating pies and writing brilliant books.
He lives in London sharing his ancestral home with two Normal cats, one Normal dog and a ghoul.
Magnificent Grace is his first book, but he has already begun to write another one, which he suspects will be even more exciting.
Skelton has authorised his Ordinary friend and helper Peter Kenny to go into schools and talk about his books. Skelton says that he and Peter Kenny are opposite sides of the same coin.
